You always have time for us Daddy,
When you are tired and need to rest,
From all the work and things you do,
But Daddy that's when you love us best.

You know how to hug us all at once,
Wrapping your arms around us three,
You hold us in a family's embrace,
And Daddy that is where we want to be.

You are so strong and protective,
We are always first in your heart,
And when we look for attention,
So lovingly cherished time you impart.

Laundry is waiting to be done,
A meal needs to be planned,
Doctor appointments to keep,
You meet each and every demand.

When the bus comes each morning,
You are there to see us leave,
Each afternoon we come back home,
You are there us to receive.

We are so very blessed Daddy,
You teach us to believe and pray,
Teaching us to rely upon Jesus,
By our sides He will forever stay.

We thank God for you Daddy,
You fill so many roles each day,
Meeting our needs is no easy task,
Yet it's accomplished without delay.

We are glad you are our Daddy,
We could not ask for anything more,
You're never too tired or too busy,
We're one happy family; us four.
