A cold chill touched her
heart
And left a weeping ache.
Where there had been warmth,
Now there was heartbreak.
She'd had a lot of pain in her life.
Her memories were bittersweet.
The man she'd loved with all her heart,
Had been a rounder, and a cheat.
She felt her life was over
Before it had hardly begun.
When he walked away and left her,
She thought she'd come undone.
The tears that fell from her eyes,
Were a mockery to her heart.
There had been much fun and laughter,
Now her life was torn apart.
Was there more to life than she'd known?
Was there hope for a better day?
Where could she find the answers,
To the questions that so heavily weighed?
Was there someone she could turn to,
Who would gently lead her to the path,
Where her feet would trod forever,
And she'd never meet God's wrath?

In the Bible in the 10th.
chapter of Romans
it is written,
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of
the Lord shall be saved."
It goes on to say
"How then shall they call on Him in whom
they have not believed? And how shall
they believe in Him of whom they have
not heard?
And how shall they hear without a preacher?"
I believe our responsibility as
Christian's is to reach out to the hurting
and the lost people of the world.
If we don't witness to the people who
need 'a better way' how will they know?
