I want to walk with you, Lord
In the path you have for me
Staying faithful and true
Doing the work you want me to do.
Though I may stumble and fall
Pick me up Lord and help me keep walking
Each day loving and serving you.

When I cannot feel you near
Or feel the world crowding in
With the temptation to sin
That is when I am filled with fear
But still long to keep walking with you.

When troubles come about
I am prone to doubt
My fitness to be one of yours
And my talents not so great
That I surely should wait
But your Spirit tells me to keep walking
Keeping the faith.

Many excuses I give
The faithful life not to live
For time seems to go so fast
With so many things to do
I have no time for you today.
Lord, show me the way
For still I must keep walking
With you day by day.

Many roadblocks come my way.
That daily I must pray
Forgive me Lord for letting greed
For worldly things entice me
To put other things first at times
Or am lazy as can be
Not taking heed of Thee.
Help me keep walking showing I am thine.

Lord, you forgave my sin
And a new life I begin
On the narrow path that few find
Serving my Savior Divine.

Forget the fear and doubt
I'll make no excuses nor procrastinate
Desire nothing of the world
And never hesitate.
To keep walking is my goal
Serving the Savior of my soul.
