With the grace of a swan
She pivoted across the floor
So intent on her movement
I couldn’t help but adore

A young and lovely woman
Enrapturing one and all
Engrossed with her timing
To captivate and enthrall

The music neared it’s crescendo
She twirled around in a spin
Then bowing ... Her head down
Brought the dance to an end

If I should live forever
I’ll never forget the sight
The exquisite beauty of the
Ballerina
Taking the art of dance, to
It’s height!
