I say "Amen" to Faye's poem. Like the stubborn old man I want to be independent as long as I can. Just be patient with me and let me still dreams my dreams of the future with bright hopes. Hello Lady Gayle, Sondra and The Captain,
It has been too long since I have spent some time here at An Hour With You, but I have finally been able to come by and catch up on so many missed pages and I still have many more to go.
The poetry as always is simply outstanding and each of the writers should be justifiably proud of their works. I always especially enjoy spiritual and inspirational poetry and you seems to always have some of the best submitted here.
I have been very quiet for a few months, partly because of my own health issues and I do hope that soon I will be able to get back to writing more poetry and sending out some updates for my site on a more regualr basis. Together with my own health problems, my Father passed away 2 days after Christmas lasy year and my mother passed away 4 weeks ago so that has also been a bit traumatic. Please keep me in your prayers for healing and enjoyment of the Lord's peace in my heart. God bless you all. Enjoy your summer break. Eddie
