~An Hour
With You~
Sacrifice Of Thine
Heart
How much more blood must be spilled,
To satisfy your thirst?
How many more cuts must you make,
With the blade of your tongue,
Speaking words to slay me,
Whilst bringing darkness to the light,
Of a world where comfort was embraced,
Now, given way to the arms of deception.
Believing in love,
How sweet the taste,
You drank from thine heart,
Like a thief in the night,
Slaying dreams of tomorrow,
Whilst giving birth to nightmares,
Leaving a gaping wound,
For the vultures to feast upon,
Whilst spitting out “I told you so’s,”
Leaving no life left to breathe upon.
Death being beckoned upon,
As I look to the heavens,
Pleading for God’s mercy to save thine soul,
From the sacrifice of thine heart,
When I once believed in love.

PS. 51:17 "THE SACRIFICES OH
GOD, ARE A BROKEN SPIRIT; A BROKEN SPIRIT
AND A CONTRITE HEART, OH GOD...THOU WILT NOT
DESPISE."
I will lift up mine eyes unto the
hills, from whence cometh my
help.
